Friends of the Village Green is an all-volunteer non profit organization. We support the Village Green Community Center — organizing fundraising projects, and offering events that complement the center’s current program/class schedule. We aim to enrich and inspire people of all ages and abilities.
The bands all say they really enjoy this venue and audiences enthusiam, and want to come back! Audience members comment they love the variety of music and appreciate the chance to hear fine musicians without having to go over the water. Plenty of merriment and some dancing too!

With 69 tickets sold, and a bright sunny day, garden guests arrived from all corners of the Kitsap Peninsula. It was a wonderful day to linger in each of the diverse gardens, chat with the hosts and garner gardening tips and solutions with fellow visitors.
A huge thank you to the Garden hosts, the Village Green Community staff and volunteers for ticket sales. This was our first Secret Garden tour and I’m sure it won’t be our last!

So much fun planning and working for the first time with the building partners; KRL- Kingston Library, Boys and Girls Club of Snohomish. Village Green Foundation, and Metropolitan Park District. Thank you to all the community members who lent a hand bringing fun and enjoyment to the community. Sharing so many memories to pass on to the growing community. What a great day!

Events and projects that bring the local community together in so many varied ways.
organizes educational programs, plans events and supports the community Gardeners and outdoor projects.
Provides diverse live music, performance and cultural events, curates and manages the Grand Hallway Art Gallery in the Village Green.
We want to facilitate and support more activities and more community engagement, to meet the needs of a changing and growing Kingston.
Money
Donations stay right here at the Village Green.
Your support helps us assist ongoing programs, bring in live music and local arts, develop speaker series, enhance green spaces, and offer community gatherings. It helps us strengthen and increase our partnerships. Being all volunteer with no office overhead, your generosity goes entirely toward enriching the community.
Card processing takes about 4% of every donation. If you'd like to cover that, add about 4% to your gift — a dollar on $25, four on $100.
Prefer not to use a card? A check avoids the fee altogether. Make it out to Friends of the Village Green and mail it to 26159 Dulay Road NE, Kingston, WA 98346.
Donations are handled by Square. Friends of the Village Green is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, so your donation is tax-deductible.
Time
Volunteers are welcome to work both inside and outside! Whether for an hour helping set up chairs/tables, distributing flyers, Weeding a morning in the garden or on the VG wood trails. Couple of hours greeting at an event or behind the scenes in the kitchen. The Village Green campus has something for everyone. Tell us what you enjoy and we'll find a good fit.
